Privacy Policy

Privacy without unnecessary collection.

OORIOO is designed as a public digital magazine and business-information website. Readers do not need an account to read published issues in Phase 1.

Effective: September 2026

1. Information OORIOO may process

The public website can be used without creating a reader account. When analytics is enabled, technical and usage information such as device type, referral source, issue opens, pages viewed, reader depth, downloads, outbound link clicks and similar interaction events may be measured to understand how the publication is used.

OORIOO does not need readers to provide sensitive personal information to read published magazine issues or browse the issue archive.

2. Reader preferences stored on your device

The digital reader may use browser storage to remember practical preferences such as the last-read page. This information is intended to improve reading continuity and remains associated with that browser or device unless the browser storage is cleared.

3. Contact and advertising enquiries

The website enquiry composer prepares an email and opens your own email application. The website does not submit that message into a public web-form database. Once you send the email, the information is processed through the email services used by you and OORIOO and may be retained as reasonably necessary to respond and maintain business correspondence.

4. Analytics and Firebase services

OORIOO is architected to use Firebase services for publication data, media storage and restricted administrative access. Public analytics may be enabled to measure publication performance without creating invasive reader profiles. The exact production configuration should be reviewed again during final deployment so this policy matches the services actually switched on.

5. External links, sharing and downloads

OORIOO may link to supporting sources, social-sharing destinations and downloadable magazine PDFs. Those external services operate under their own privacy practices. Following an external link or using a third-party sharing service may allow that provider to receive information under its own terms.

6. Administrative access

OORIOO administrative tools are not public reader accounts. Access is restricted to authorized publishing users through authentication. Administrative access should use strong credentials and the final Firebase security rules supplied with the project.

7. Retention and security

OORIOO should retain personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was supplied, legal or operational requirements, or legitimate business correspondence. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when OORIOO adds material features such as subscriber accounts, newsletters, saved articles or additional analytics. The effective date should be updated when substantive changes are published.
